Anyone else remember back in the early '90s when one of the crazes in comic books was to put out an issue zero, in which a bit of background for the main characters would be languidly sketched in, without said characters getting up to anything interesting at all? Well, this opening blog post is kind of an equivalent to one of those issue zeros, merely offering a brief outline of intent before the serious (but super-fun) Cannes business begins in just under a fortnight's time. On the plus side though, I'm not charging anyone a quid fifty to read this.
