Iron Man 2 teaser poster. Look at it. Look at it!

What could be more exciting than Iron Man, a man literally made of iron (or metal. Or something)? Yes, that's right, two Iron Men! To underline this unshakeably solid truism, just take a look at the new Iron Man 2 teaser poster below.

Iron Man 2 poster.

Grrr! If you're not at least a little aroused by that then you need to check your brain hasn't become severed from all your other body bits, and pronto! The grayscale Iron Man in the picture (first delivered by Yahoo! Movies) is War Machine, the armoured alter-ego of James Rhodes (played by Don Cheadle in Jon Favreau's film). Essentially the charmingly-aliased War Machine is very similar to Iron Man, but with shedloads of guns stuck to him. This is because he was created in the early 90s, and any comic book characters in the early 90s who weren't laden with improbably large, phallic firearms were unceremoniously cast out as homosexual communist Milli Vanilli fans. Iron Man 2 and its saggy-with-big-name-actors cast hits theatres next May, threatening to make a splodgy, nonsensical, mess of Spider-Man 3 proportions when it does so.

So is war machine a goodie? I mean they were chums in the 1st film, but that doesn't mean a (friendly) rivalry doesn't take over. Or he is turned bad, or gets attacked by an alien called Venom who uses him as a symbiotic host, imbibing him with super powers but.... no, wait.

War Machine is a good guy, he kind of takes over Tony Starks role of Iron Man when Stark starts drinking too much and messing up,

They are dealing with the beginnings of Starks alcoholism in this film.

hey cool. ok, fair enough. I loved the 1st film but to be honest know next to nothing about comic book history. I watched batman begins again last night and only just noticed Zsasz in there!
