Let the Americanised vampires in

Matt Reeves’ remake of Let the Right One In, Let Me In, has been cast. Kodi Smit-McPhee, most recently seen in The Road, will star opposite Chloe Moretz – Hit Girl from upcoming moving Kick Ass – and Richard Jenkins, from Burn After Reading. So even if we’re not on board with idea of remaking such a great film, the cast is good.

Smit-McPhee will play Owen, the somewhat Americanised Oskar. Moretz will be Abby – though we’re not sure what’s wrong with Eli. Jenkins will play the role of Hakan (Eli’s guardian/blood finder) but whether or not that name will stick is another matter.
