First up is the drama, Little Soldier. When Lotte returns home from the army, she has no money and decides to take a job with her father driving around and protecting one of his prostitutes. When her emotions become entangled in the prostitute's life Lily leads, Lotte has to learn the hard way that doing the right thing isn't always what everybody else wants.
Little Solider won the 2009 Prize of the Ecumenical Jury award at the Berlin International Film Festival and the Special Award at the Bodil Awards. It's available to watch in the UK, US, Canada and Australia.
We move on to a comedy next with Life After Love (La Vie Apres L’Amour). Gilles and Sophie are madly in love – literally. After they're married Sophie pulls pranks on Gilles to prove their bond, so when she does actually walk out on him it takes Gilles a while to realise what's happened. When he does he comes up with crazy schemes to get her back.
The film won two awards: the 2001 Golden Ticket award at the Jutra Awards and the 2000 Audience Award at the Montréal Comedy Festival, 'Just for Laughs'. Life After Love is only available in the UK.

Based on the novel by Barbara Gowdy, Falling Angels is a dark comedy that sees three sisters struggle for independence in a wildly dysfunctional family in the '60s. It's set in a household ruled by a harsh ex-military father, who leaves the three daughters to deal with their depressed mother. Each one copes with the situation in a different way: Norma, the eldest takes on domestic duties; Lou rebels, turning to drugs and boys; while Sandy tries to become the perfect woman and starts an affair with an older man.
Falling Angels is available in the US only.
What Alice Found is a drama that follows Alice as she escapes from a dead-end life and hits the road heading to Miami. Along the way Alice runs into some trouble with vandals who wreck her car, but luckily there to help her out is a couple travelling in an RV. But are they the good people they seem to be? And is Alice hiding something as well?
What Alice Found won the 2003 Special Jury Prize at the Sundance Film Festival and Grand Special Prize at the Deauville Film Festival. It's available to UK users only.

Making a film at school spells drama off-camera as well as on for the students involved in Who’s Camus Anyway?. The director's love life plays heavily on him and the others around him, threatening to derail the production. Will they ever get The Bored Murderer finished?
Who’s Camus Anyway? won the 2005 Japanese Eyes: Best Film award at the Tokyo International Film Festival. It's only available in the US.
Long Pigs is a horror mockumentary that sees two documentary filmmakers talk serial killer and cannibal Anthony McAllister into letting them film him and his practice. But as their film progresses, they begin to doubt some of the things Anthony has told them about his past. Tensions rise and trouble brews.
Long Pigs is only available to users in the US.
Sympathy is a twisting tale of a reckless bank robber who picks up a rebellious teenager as a hostage and takes her to a motel, planning to take her with him to Canada the next morning. He loses control of the situation when an escaped prisoner joins the mix: but who are these people, really, and what are they after?
