Bits and pieces

Angela Burton
Sam Worthington

We've got a Clash of the Titans behind-the-scenes featurette; Bill Murray talking Ghostbusters III; The Tourist and Burke and Hare have been snapped on set; Prince of Persia has a second trailer; Tangled has an official teaser trailer; and Survival of the Dead has a new one-sheet.

If you haven’t had enough of Clash of the Titans you can check out another of the little beasties right here, right now. There doesn’t seem to be any new footage, mainly bits from the trailer with Sam Worthington and Co. talking about how they’ve ramped up the mythology – thanks for the Classics lesson, guys.

We all know there's going to be a Ghostbusters 3 and that everyone's favourite 'Buster, Peter Venkman will be back. But (spoiler) Bill Murray appeared on the David Letterman show and, as expected chatted about the third instalment in the Ghostbusters franchise. First, he confirmed that he will indeed be in it (phew) but he doesn’t seem too psyched about the whole thing (boo). He goes on to explain that he agreed to be in the flick only if he were killed off in the first reel (gasp) and went so far as to call it his “nightmare” (!). But (spoiler, spoiler) his death won't be the end of Venkman. And just for the record, this reporter liked Ghostbusters 2.

After yesterday's Johnny Depp post we were pleased to stumble on some on-set pictures of the star in upcoming thriller The Tourist, in which he stars opposite Angelina Jolie. Depp is sporting a fuller beard for his role, which looks very soft and touchable. (Ed: you pervert.)

Also in behind-the-scenes picture spotlight is Burke and Hare. Last week we posted some snaps of Simon Pegg and Andy Serkis yawning and texting between scenes, now we have Isla Fisher standing on a box to give her some extra height, and eating some sweets. One the one hand, these pictures have given us a glimpse at this very exciting John Landis project but on the other, they really illustrate just how much hanging around there is on film sets. We do not envy them that at all.

A second trailer for Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time has been released with a lot of recycled shots from the first trailer, as well as plenty of jumping and swinging about: the studio obviously wants you to note that this flick will be very action-heavy. Now can we move on, please?

We also have the official teaser trailer from Disney’s Rapunzel tale, Tangled. After the early footage was leaked last week we thought it would be a while until we saw anything for the film (it's still in early production) but this teaser just shows some stills with a voiceover explaining the set-up.

George A Romero’s upcoming horror film, Survival of the Dead has its first one-sheet. And we must say it's not very impressive, it looks like its been quickly comped together. The film follows a group of survivors that get to Plum Island, where they hope to survive the zombie outbreak but find themselves in the middle of a battle between two families. The film will be released via video-on-demand from April 30, then will have a cinematic release from May 28.
