It's new documentaries time!

Portraits of Children.

Like Dragnet’s Sergeant Joe Friday, we’re all about the facts. In filmic terms, that means documentaries, and today we’re publishing three docs with a sociological theme. Looking for a bit of perspective? You may find it in the experiences of these folks. Six people with body issues bare all, twelve children share their dreams and fears, and six teen mothers tell it like it is.

First up is the moving and thought-provoking documentary Naked On The Inside. Six extraordinary people – a fat activist, an ex-model, a disabled man, a trans man, a breast cancer survivor and a tattooed ex-gang member – open up about the way they view their bodies, share their life stories and bare all. This film is available in the UK and Canada.

Next is Inside Out: Portraits of Children. Twelve very different children tell their life stories, sharing their views on divorce, adoption, immigration, religion and culture in this award-winning documentary. You can watch this in the UK and Australia.

Finally, we have Growing Up Fast, in which six teen mothers share their experiences of pregnancy and raising their children, providing a personal perspective on this much-debated issue. This can be viewed by people in the UK and Australia.
