Who doesn’t love a movie poster? You’ll be pleased to hear that Paramount and Marvel have released two character posters and a still for Iron Man 2, and we also have the final poster for The Losers thanks to Warner Bros.
If the trailer wasn’t enough for you yesterday we now have two new Iron Man 2 character posters. Seeing as neither has any text, Paramount and Marvel must believe their comic book heroes' suits are enough of a statement. No introductions needed. Talking of the trailer, if you have a keen eye you may be able to spot Scarlett Johanson’s stunt double. The exact image is below, thanks to MovieLine.

Is it just us or does having Iron Man (that’s the red and gold one) and War Machine (the grey one) separate take away the feeling of bulk that War Machine had in their back-to-back poster? Oh and the way characters posters are going right now, we’re still awaiting a new and updated one for villain of the piece, Whiplash. The last one was ages ago. That should be arriving any time soon. You can count on it.

From what we can see of the trailer it seems that the second instalment has actually gone with a plot (as opposed to the first, which decided it didn’t need one and kind of proved itself right when it raked in a total domestic gross of $318,412,101). With the world now aware of Tony Stark’s secret identity, Stark faces pressure from the government, press and the public to hand over the suit, or share his technology with the military. Iron Man is forced to make new alliances and face powerful enemies.

Iron Man 2 is directed by Jon Favreau and stars Robert Downey Jr, Gwyneth Paltrow, Scarlett Johansson, Mickey Rourke, Sam Rockwell, Don Cheadle, Olivia Munn and Paul Bettany. You can catch it in cinemas April 30 in the UK and May 7 in the US.

Those A-Team wannabes The Losers finally have their official poster. It looks a lot like the hand drawn one they were already using. So, unfortunately we’re not exactly wowed over here at Indie HQ, especially because you can see up all their noses.

Double crossings and revenge abound when the members of an elite US Special Forces unit, Clay, Jensen, Roque, Pooch and Cougar, are sent into the Bolivian jungle on a search and destroy mission. Presumed dead, they’re joined by Aisha, a beautiful operative with her own agenda, and they work together as they plan to get even with those who betrayed them - primarily, a man named Max who is bent on a new high tech global war.

Based on the DC/Vertigo comic book series, The Losers is directed by Sylvain White. The cast includes Jeffery Dean Morgan, Zoe Saldana, Chris Evans, Idris Elba, Columbus Short, Oscar Jaeneda and Jason Patric. It hits cinemas April 9 in the UK and April 23 in the US.

The poster of Iron Man (red and gold) makes him look like he has curiously stumpy arms. Like an armour-plated T-Rex or something.
