I am so horrified by the way they hunt the poor foxes and this should stop right now as there is no need for this. This stupid tradition should stop immediately. This is barbaric and England should be a shamed, I am British and I am a shamed.

Absolutely sickening, this documentary is wwell made and unfortunately necessary. This blood sport which is at present illegal, is in every part of this country; it HAS to be stopped. These monsters are capable of such cruelty and suffering. We need to ensure that this law is not only repealed, but STRENGHENED. These people with their heinous behaviour are criminally insane. So, you want to make this sort of barbarism legal again? Rather gives the lie to the hubris with which the "well heeled" convince themselves (and few others, I'd wager) that they are in possession of that quality one might call civility. This is different from dog fighting, that low class, common, trailer-trash "sport" of the Americans in particulars only. I'll end this comment now, lest I offend myself.

I'm glad this movie was made. It shows just how arrogant the hunt people are, and just how brave the sabs have to be in order to save the foxes despite the ban. Keep up the good work!

To see this, made me feel angry, sick,and positively hateful, of those who can call this sport? it is nothing more then violence against a creature who has no chance of survival, it is an old barbaric custom, that frankly is as dated as sending children up a chimney...these people are NOT HUMANS TO BE PROUD OF..AND I PRAY,WHAT GOES AROUND COMES AROUND..THIS IS DISGUISTING...I HOPE AND PRAY WE STOP IT...

This is a brave and brutally honest account of the 'sport' of hunting with hounds. There is no place in an apparently civilised society for such a medieval display of barbarism, nor is there any valid reason for its continuation.

This film, though difficult to watch at times, shows the truth of the hunt, and also allows a voice to those in rural communities who are drowned out by the braying of the hunters insisting that they speak for all rural dwellers.

An excellent film - I only wish it could have a wider distribution - everyone should see this!

Minority? Well that bit's wrong for a start off. The meets are always full to capacity around here. What I find very very distressing is an innocent man is killed but no one is convicted, but everyone is up in arms about a load of bloody evil foxes. What the hell is your problem? They are animals that need to be culled. If you people saw the damage they did you would perhaps know what you are talking about. But then if you all think killing an innocent man is ok, I guess you think 'humanely' shooting a fox and leaving it to die slowly and in a lot of pain is also acceptable. And I love the way these anti films are so one sided. These people are the most evil animal haters on the planet for what they do to the hounds and horses. How can anyone hurt an animal? Just watch a few antis hurting the horses and hounds in their bid to stop foxhunting, or killing someone - sick sick sick people.

Minority Pastime is a brilliant documentary. Anyone who isn't moved to do something to help the hunt ban stay in place after watching it, needs to check if they have a heart!
It is a barbaric hobby, enjoyed by the few, deplored by the vast majority. It not only shows a complete disregard for the suffering of the fox, but their own dogs too, Not forgetting any humans that get in their way.

This is such a well made and thoughtful film. Even though much is very upsetting, it really shows the truth behind hunting. I thought I knew all there was to know about these savage barbarians who call themselves 'hunters'...but was so shocked to see their contempt for the law, for peoples private property, for peoples pets and livestock - not to mention the poor fox. I live in the country and have seen the devestation they leave in their wake. Their arrogance and disregard for anyone else is staggering.
I was a life long Tory voter too, until I saw this sickening insight.

The sad and sickening thing is that there is much worse that could have been shown on this film. The cub hunting, the fake dens the hunters make so that foxes will breed and know where they are to dig them out...it's all so pathetic, cruel and utterly barbaric.
Well done Denise and Michael for being so calm and so brave, it must have been very harrowing to make this film.

Fantastic film! It really shows the vicious, spiteful, nasty side of the hunt 'masters'. They are just SO full of themselves, it beggars belief!

I was a life long tory voter but not this time. when I found out that the hunting ban was going to be repealed - I voted elsewhere as did my husband, also a lifelong tory.
I will never understand the mentality of grown men and women indulging in such cruelty and seemingly enjoying it. The lack of compassion tells me they belong in the dark ages when such cruelty was accepted as the norm. In the 20th century intelligent people recognised the cruel barbarity of such acts and condemn it outright.
Most seem to have just followed in their parents footsteps without question or thinking for themselves - shame on them - do they not have brains enough to see how antiquated and out of touch they are with the modern, compassion world?

This horrible woman, Denise want's more comments about her film, well it is completely biased, over exaggarated, and she seems to have some smug look on her face most of the time, Denise if you don't like it then don't do it, have you done this to just support the Labour Party, if so bad move, suggest you take up Tiddly Winks

This was total rubbish. Its just a bunch of well seasoned antis crying over nothing. Everyone is trailhunting. There is no evidence of anything else. Some goat farmer's goat had an abortion two months after the hunt mooched past, its pushing it a bit far even for the mad anti-hunt lot isn't it? All this shows is sabs wasting police time and sabs murdering a hunt supporter. Who was good old Bryan Griffiths co-pilot? Only a convicted animal rights activist who has been to prison 4 time for arson and a grave robbery of a hunt supporter. The jury didn't know that. That verdict is perverse!!! This film is long, boring and extremely biased. Load of rubbish. And I wasn't even on it!

Cameron is a toff a posh aristo and this type see it as their class's birthright to hunt small defenseless creature's.I am disgusted that the South of England (it wasn't Northern Ireland,Wales or Scotland..or even Northern England really )voted in this nasty uncaring ,Thatcherite government...many of whose front bench spokespeople are old Etonian's...and from the class that loves to prove itself by hunting animals.

I cannot believe the utter disregard for not only the foxes and hounds but the members of the public. The danger that is placed on the roads and on peoples property is inexcusable. I am pleased that the film has given a voice to the people of the rural communities who have to put up with the hunts affecting their day to day lives, it finally breaks the stereotypical views dividing urban and rural people and makes the point that it really is a minority who want the ban lifted! I also respect the fact that the film tried to capture both sides of the story but the fact you were met with a great deal of hostility from the hunt supporters says it all really! I agree, a brave film and I will ensure that I spread the word.

I cannot believe you have the audacity to comtemplate on making a documentary where upon you have many fundamental issues that do not make sense and hipocracy as your nature.

You KILLED Trevor Morse. We are not talking here about the monitoring of fox hunting. A murder case was unjustifully denied and i hope you all realise the bias and unhumane nature of your actions.

You said you wanted to know everything about hunting. You had no intention to show the management issues and livelyhood to do with hunting.

Those who are anti fox hunting so be it but should not interfere with other peoples business. Do i come and harrass you...no i think not. Leave us alone.

You are the murderers and hope that you realise who you really are.

A brilliant but disturbing film showing the horrific truth about hunting with dogs and the equally horrific people who participate in this vile so-called 'sport'. A brave film made by a courageous lady.
