As with any realism-based war movie it can only be a message of peace. There is nothing that cannot be solved by communication and compromise. War truly is Hell and should not exist - it's up to all of us to see that it doesn't.

Thank you. "Saints and Soldiers" is a great movie. I wish more movies today exhibited such excellent acting and superb writing. It is a treat to watch a movie that is able to engage the viewer and to create that amount of empathy or be that thought provoking. It is not only well written, but well acted and well shot. Hollywood could really learn from this.Highly recommended.
