John Shepard is a disillusioned cop; hard-drinking and a heavy smoker, he’s awarded a medal of honour for killing a notorious drug dealer. Struggling with his new found hero status, Shepard becomes more hostile, causing fights in bars and drinking more. Meanwhile, Rex is on his way to Hollywood to realise his dreams of fame, a rising body count of cops trailing in his wake.
