Shepard is a disillusioned cop struggling with his new found hero status after killing a notorious drug dealer in a shoot out. Rex, a trigger happy out law with a rising body count of cops in his wake wants to use Shepard to boost his status. But when quick-drawing Rex finally comes face to face with Shepard in a tense showdown, will he hold his nerve?

John Shepard is a disillusioned cop; hard-drinking and a heavy smoker, he’s awarded a medal of honour for killing a notorious drug dealer. Struggling with his new found hero status, Shepard becomes more hostile, causing fights in bars and drinking more. Meanwhile, Rex is on his way to Hollywood to realise his dreams of fame, a rising body count of cops trailing in his wake. Hearing of Shepard, Rex plots to use his status to boost his own infamy and challenges the hero lawman to an old-fashioned duel. But when quick-drawing Rex finally comes face to face with Shepard in a tense showdown, will he hold his nerve?
