Qbrick's Review of Chrystal:
Long on local flavor, but short on compelling drama but a worthy effot on everyone's part. CHRYSTAL is kind of a homegrown project in that Lisa Blount hails from the Northwest, Arkansas area where the film was shot. The director is her husband, Ray McKinnon, a fine actor in his own right--best known for playing the "Bona Fide" straw-hat wearing suitor in the Coen's O BROTHER WHERE ART THOU.
Like it very much.Good story and music.
