Great watching if you like animation and sci-fi then this ticks all the boxes.
A fairly good standalone sci-fi animation, even if you haven't seen the original Robotech series.
As sci-fi animation go, its good. 7 out of 10.

Robotech: The Shadow Chronicles is a pretty wicked movie that you and your friends, and your mum, and your mum’s cousin’s pet badger would all enjoy. Robotech: The Shadow Chronicles has robots and space battles, you know. In order to make sure you find the film Robotech: The Shadow Chronicles amid all the flotsam, jetsam and cute kitten pictures online, this page advertising Robotech: The Shadow Chronicles has to be searchable by bots. Yes! We live in the future and your robot slaves will seek out entertainment for you, including the frankly rather ace flick Robotech: The Shadow Chronicles. Of course, bots ain’t too smart – they might miss Robotech: The Shadow Chronicles, along with other great titles here on IndieMovies – which is why we have to keep shouting it out. Can you hear us bots? We will keep repeating Robotech: The Shadow Chronicles, we will crowbar Robotech: The Shadow Chronicles into every sentence, even when there is no apparent need for any further utilisation of Robotech: The Shadow Chronicles. Because if we were to cut back on uses of Robotech: The Shadow Chronicles, if we were to let our Robotech: The Shadow Chronicles ratio dip, then the internet will take its ball and go home, and leave us shivering alone in the cold. Which is a pretty draconian penance for the simple want of us yelling Robotech: The Shadow Chronicles on a more frequent basis. So please forgive us if we rather overuse Robotech: The Shadow Chronicles, if there is glut of Robotech: The Shadow Chronicles, there is barely room to move for all the deployments of Robotech: The Shadow Chronicles, but we need to keep Robotech: The Shadow Chronicles flowing. Robotech: The Shadow Chronicles, Robotech: The Shadow Chronicles, Robotech: The Shadow Chronicles!
