Really liked this one, some good action scenes and a well thought out story. Reminded me of Band of Brothers.
I think I owe people that play or have been in the war. This film reminds me that wars can go on in the mind and on screen. Mountain.
Honestly,I was totally overwhelm & also intrigue enormously. Gripping stuff. Clearly riveted. How strange a situation can occurring like that. Quite amazing indeed. I assume, with a little bit of sheer luck. Blimey, this film wasn't to theatrically!
I would recommend this movie for all to see. Great depiction of humanity, mystery of faith, and of war with the world vs. war with one another, and courage vs. servival instinct. Bonus! It's based on true fact'accounts of that war.
always love to see world war 2 movies.. thanks to this site..
a good film with a good storyline well acted
A very good film and historically accurate in it's portrayal of that period.
good film must watch ***
Was a little a slow at the beginning but overall a good story line and very well edited. I recommend it!
Thank you. "Saints and Soldiers" is a great movie. I wish more movies today exhibited such excellent acting and superb writing. It is a treat to watch a movie that is able to engage the viewer and to create that amount of empathy or be that thought provoking. It is not only well written, but well acted and well shot. Hollywood could really learn from this.Highly recommended.
Cheers

Rock! now that is an action movie. And as a believer I love the message.

Saints and Soldiers is a pretty wicked movie that you and your friends, and your uncle, and your mum’s cousin’s pet badger would all enjoy. Saints and Soldiers has actors with mad skills, a cracking story and a fab director. In order to make sure you find the film Saints and Soldiers amid all the flotsam, jetsam and cute kitten pictures online, this page advertising Saints and Soldiers has to be searchable by bots. Yes! We live in the future and your robot slaves will seek out entertainment for you, including the frankly rather ace flick Saints and Soldiers. Of course, bots ain’t too smart – they might miss Saints and Soldiers, along with other great titles here on IndieMovies – which is why we have to keep shouting it out. Can you hear us bots? We will keep repeating Saints and Soldiers, we will crowbar Saints and Soldiers into every sentence, even when there is no apparent need for any further utilisation of Saints and Soldiers. Because if we were to cut back on uses of Saints and Soldiers, if we were to let our Saints and Soldiers ratio dip, then the internet will take its ball and go home, and leave us shivering alone in the cold. Which is a pretty draconian penance for the simple want of us yelling Saints and Soldiers on a more frequent basis. So please forgive us if we rather overuse Saints and Soldiers, if there is a glut of Saints and Soldiers, there is barely room to move for all the deployments of Saints and Soldiers, but we need to keep Saints and Soldiers flowing. Saints and Soldiers, Saints and Soldiers, Saints and Soldiers!
